My Brain Hurts

Would you all like to know what I accomplished yesterday?

2 discussion boards
4 homework assignments
2 final projects
3 finals
Why did I do that?  Well, it bought me an extra week of time off from school.  My next round of classes start on January 3rd so losing one day of my sanity for an extra week off seemed kind of worth it.  Except now my brain really hurts.  Yikes.

That being said, it is Fill in the Blank Friday over at the little things we do again so I am participating.  Have a lovely weekend all!

1.   Giving is  awesome.  I’m one of those people who will see something I know someone will love and even if it isn’t their birthday or a holiday I’ll get it for them anyway.  It’s fun to make someone else happy!

2.  Receiving is  fun too.  I’m not going to sit here and say I don’t love presents.  I do.  It’s a different feeling than giving is but it’s still nice too.

3.  The best gift I ever received was  my netbook.  I love this little thing and it is so nice to be able to take it with me and do work if I need to.  Good job parents!

4.  The best gift I ever gave was  scrapbooks.  My girlfriends and I made each other scrapbooks during our senior year of high school.  Although we’re no longer friends, I still have mine and look through it all the time.  I hope they do the same.

5.  Something intangible that I wish I could receive is  more confidence in my writing.

6.  Something intangible that I wish I could give is  cleanliness?  I wish Dustin wanted to help clean more without me having to ask!  Is that terrible?

7.  The one gift I always wanted as a child, but never got was  a bunny.  I always, always wanted one but was told I couldn’t have one because we had a beagle and beagles like to hunt bunnies.  Nonetheless I asked for one for quite a few Christmases.

A bunny-oh yes, what a wonderful gift that would have been!

It's not terrible that you wish Dustin were a little readier to pitch in the with cleaning! John might actually be more anal than I am (a frightening thought) and I came home the other day to find he'd washed our hardwood floors with vinegar and hot water…by hand! I was so overwhelmed to have such a clean-freak in my house!

Woo hoo for your work getting done & breif time off. But boo to the brain hurting :(

Not terrible that you want your hubs to clean without being told. I told my boyfriend upfront if we ever get married the bed being made is manditory whoever gets out last. Ha

Scrapbooks are so nice to look back on :)

I LOVE my netbook too! So small and handy. It would be a miracle if the bf/fiancé would clean without me nagging! I hate nagging! Hope u Have a great weekend lady :)

I wanted a pony. No one every gave me a reason why we couldn't have one. But if my kids want bunnies I'm totally getting a beagle and using that excuse.

    have a lovely weekend!

Aww, a bunny! We had one for a short time, she was sweet but didn't like to 'play' with us much :)
I love the trading scrapbooks idea – so wonderful to have memories captured!

That's some good school drive right there! Nice work.

I wanted a gerbil for a long time but we had cats. and I don't really like rodents. I am not sure what I was thinking.
