“Oooh baby I’m a fool for you”

Oh. My. Gosh.

First off, a HUGE thank you to my blog bestie Sara who invited me to go to the Muse concert which was last night.  Seriously, it was AWESOME.

We started out at Flame, the same restaurant we ate at when we went to Lilith Fair.  We both got their amazing burgers with their AMAZING fries AND we decided to order s’mores for dessert (what’s up with me and s’mores lately).  I took this picture but Sara’s is better because you can actually see the flame in hers.

S’mores for dessert – always a good decision

After Flame we headed to the Target Center for the concert.  We actually made it a bit late because of ordering dessert.  Passion Pit opened for Muse.  For those of you that claim you have no idea who they are, you probably do.  They play a song that was in a commercial for whatever cellphone is the Pixie.  Such a cool band, go download some of their music.  The song from the commercial is called Sleepyhead.  I love it!  Even though we missed most of their set we made it in time for the 2 songs of theirs that I love, so yay for that!

Passion Pit

After Passion Pit we decided we had to take a pic of us.  Aren’t we adorable?  And don’t you love Sara’s darker hair!?  I know I do!

Me and Sara

Like I said, Muse was amazing.  Seriously.  I was a little worried because I didn’t really like their most recent CD but they only actually played a few songs from it.  In fact, they played every single song of theirs that I love.  Which totally rocked my socks.

They had these 3 columns and each band member was in each column.  The columns would go up and down during different sons AND they showed pictures and what not.  Very cool set up!
 Seriously they were SO GOOD!
At one point a bunch of spheres that looked like eyeballs dropped down on the crowd.  Everyone was bouncing them around and when they popped they rained down confetti
This was at the very end of the concert.  Definitely left us wanting more!
Seriously if you have the chance to see Muse in concert you definitely should.  They were pretty darn awesome and I had a fantastic time!  And now I’m even more pumped to see Maroon 5 at the end of the month!
It really was a fantastic day and I made it out of Minneapolis with very little hassle this time, thank goodness!
More soon!

My Husband told me once "he was going to get us tickets". I told him it only counts if he actually gets them.

    Sounds like a fun concert!
