Yay! This weekend we got two big things down for the wedding and I am SO relieved!
This weekend Nina and I went up to Hayward to stay at Mom and Dad’s for the weekend. Saturday was the Hayward wedding expo and I was really hopeful we’d be able to get a few vendors booked and out of the way.
The expo was really great, there were vendors there I wouldn’t have even thought of to ask to do certain things for the wedding. We met the owners of Hayward Bakery and Cheese Shop. I’ve never actually been in there myself but I’ve heard their fresh bread is to die for. So are their cakes! They had samples there that were SO good! It didn’t take much to persuade me to hire them. I’m very excited to work with them and I know there going to make a really great cake for us.
We also met Sara Thiry, a Hayward photographer. She’s incredibly personable and her photographs are really amazing. Not to mention she loves the outdoors, perfect for our backyard wedding. We’ll be meeting with her in the spring to do some engagement pictures for us and I’m very excited to see how she does with us.
So it was a really productive weekend PLUS tomorrow I’ll be heading to David’s to buy my dress! So very exciting, it’s so great to know it will be MINE! Yay! I love having so many things accomplished in just one weekend.
